When you grow up in a setting where you sit behind a desk facing a teacher, follow directions, open books as instructed, copy notes from a board and work unrelated tasks using different files and notebooks, it can be hard to imagine how to integrate curriculum to facilitate collaborative learning about topics that matter to the learners.

A Living Project is an opportunity to live an emergent curriculum.
Over three days, educators explore a central idea, developing skills that help them explore, represent, revisit and refine their thinking.
Each day begins with a connection and reflection – a focus on being a learner.
Each day ends with a reflection and projection – a focus on implementing a learner-centred, integrated, inquiry-led process in an educational setting.
