People are asking me how I am enjoying ‘retirement’.

What is clear to me is that I don’t want to ‘retire’.

I love teaching. I love facilitating. I love learning. I love interacting with people.

It’s true that I don’t want to work for 40 plus hours a week.

I want to walk, weed and clean. Sing, learn and play. There are projects around the house I’ve put off. A box of fabric with patterns that I was going to make 20 years ago. Silk paints. An idea for boxes designed as windows. A table to sand. Jigsaw puzzles to make.

But working with people to find solutions to challenges, to set directions for the future, to work together more effectively, to learn. That’s my real joy.

It’s all in the Facilitating Conversations logo really.

So, my shingle is out.

Please help me promote my work on co-facilitation, showcased in this blog.

Please help me promote SchemaPlay, inquiry-led learning and play!
